More bandwidth by LTE bonding for stationary and mobile scenarios
Bingen, Germany, 01/23/2012. – Viprinet, a German manufacturer of Multichannel VPN Routers, from now on supports the LTE mobile phone standard. The LTE modems are available as Hot Plug Modules for the modular Multichannel VPN Routers 300, 1610 and 2610. Developed chiefly for the deployment in vehicles, the Multichannel VPN Router 500 can too be equipped with up to 3 LTE modems as permanent parts in project businesses with a volume of 50 pcs min.
Besides LTE, the Viprinet LTE modem also supports the mobile phone standards UTMS and HSPA+. It independently chooses the respectively best mobile phone connection available regardless of which technology and thus ensures a flawless data connection. As SIM cards of different providers can be combined at liberty for the bonding, the whole mobile phone bandwidth available is provided in form of one virtual leased line with a static IP address. This way, each connection to a cloud or a company network is fast, profitable and reliable - no matter whether initiated on the road, at the office or at home.
Two SMA jacks on each modem allow the usage of MIMO antennas. With MIMO, higher bandwidths can be reached, buildings can be better penetrated and mobile phone connections can be used even at high driving speed.
Viprinet offers remote stations for LTE connections for rent as managed service and, with a bandwidth of up to 1 GBit/s (Multichannel VPN Router 5000), for sale to be deployed in users' own data centers.
