Viprinet GmbH was founded in 2006 as a spin-off of Computerman GmbH, the worldwide leading provider of enterprise chat server software. Headquarters and development department are located in the beautiful city Bingen am Rhein in the world heritage site Mittelrheintal – right in the middle of the Rhine Main Area, one of Europe's most important economic centers.

Computerman GmbH, founded in 1997, specializes in optimizing business communications through chat systems. Viprinet expands on this, targeting the underlying network layer: the company's goal is to develop and market broadband access solutions and VPN systems for the enterprise.

To do so the company has developed the Viprinet Multichannel VPN Router, which uses innovative, patented technology for the first time to enable bundling of an almost arbitrary number of physical internet access lines (e.g. ADSL or ISDN) into a virtual dedicated line. The system also offers plenty of useful features like VPN linking, bandwidth management and quality of service and is distinguished by high quality and usability – a mature administration interface and sophisticated statistics and monitoring tools enable excellent integration in existing company networks and a low total cost of ownership.

Viprinet plans to serve the market with further outstanding broadband communications products based on this technology in the future.
